Michel Pools: a segmented website for custom pools with a hidden overflow
Michel Pools
Michal Michel designs, builds, and installs custom polypropylene pools across Slovakia, including his own hidden-overflow edge where the water line sits flush with the paving. The problem was simple: people do not know the difference between a hidden overflow, a grille overflow, and a skimmer pool, so inquiries came in vague and unqualified. We built a website that first orients the visitor, segments them by pool type, and only then moves them to a no-obligation quote via a short form, phone, or WhatsApp. The project was delivered in 9 days for €350.

How we structured the brief
The main challenge was not design but education: moving the visitor from "I want a pool" to "I want exactly this type of pool." So we built the site around segmentation and a low-friction inquiry.
Customers did not know the difference between pool types
A hidden overflow, a grille overflow, and a skimmer look identical to a layperson, which led to vague inquiries.
We built a tabbed selector and three dedicated pages that clearly explain each type.
Technologies and implementation
UX architecture + Next.js components
Inquiries arrived without context or a pool type
The solo operator wasted time gathering basic information over email.
We added a "Pool type" field to the form, including a "Not sure — advise me" option, so every inquiry is immediately structured.
Technologies and implementation
React logic + TypeScript state
An expensive purchase required trust before contact
For a one-man business without reviews, credibility had to be shown another way.
We added a trust grid with the 10-year warranty, made-in-Slovakia claim, company registration data (IČO/DIČ), and a project gallery.
Technologies and implementation
Component architecture + content blocks
The visitor had many questions before deciding
Price, permits, winter operation, and maintenance are typical doubts before buying a pool.
We built a 13-question FAQ block that pre-handles the main objections and shortens the sales cycle.
Technologies and implementation
Content blocks + structured content

Hero with a no-obligation CTA
The headline "A pool exactly the way you imagine it" with a premium visual and buttons for a quote and a call.
Segmented pool-type selector
A tabbed switch between three types (hidden overflow / grille overflow / skimmer) sends the visitor to a dedicated page that explains exactly their option.
Water-color selector and process
Nine water-color variants and a clear four-step process make a bespoke build tangible before the inquiry is even sent.
Quote form with pool type
A short form with a "Pool type" field (including a "Not sure — advise me" option) sends every inquiry already structured and ready to price.
