Michel Pools: a segmented website for custom pools with a hidden overflow

Michel Pools

2026-06-10

Michal Michel designs, builds, and installs custom polypropylene pools across Slovakia, including his own hidden-overflow edge where the water line sits flush with the paving. The problem was simple: people do not know the difference between a hidden overflow, a grille overflow, and a skimmer pool, so inquiries came in vague and unqualified. We built a website that first orients the visitor, segments them by pool type, and only then moves them to a no-obligation quote via a short form, phone, or WhatsApp. The project was delivered in 9 days for €350.

How we structured the brief

The main challenge was not design but education: moving the visitor from "I want a pool" to "I want exactly this type of pool." So we built the site around segmentation and a low-friction inquiry.

Problem #1

Customers did not know the difference between pool types

A hidden overflow, a grille overflow, and a skimmer look identical to a layperson, which led to vague inquiries.

Our solution

We built a tabbed selector and three dedicated pages that clearly explain each type.

Problem #2

Inquiries arrived without context or a pool type

The solo operator wasted time gathering basic information over email.

Our solution

We added a "Pool type" field to the form, including a "Not sure — advise me" option, so every inquiry is immediately structured.

Technologies and implementation

React logic + TypeScript state

2
Problem #3

An expensive purchase required trust before contact

For a one-man business without reviews, credibility had to be shown another way.

Our solution

We added a trust grid with the 10-year warranty, made-in-Slovakia claim, company registration data (IČO/DIČ), and a project gallery.

Technologies and implementation

Component architecture + content blocks

Problem #4

The visitor had many questions before deciding

Price, permits, winter operation, and maintenance are typical doubts before buying a pool.

Our solution

We built a 13-question FAQ block that pre-handles the main objections and shortens the sales cycle.

Content blocks + structured content
