When “before” and “after” differ in viewpoint
An interactive slider looks simple — until the before and after photos turn out to have been taken from different spots. With BYTGroup’s material we fine-tuned the scale, crop and position of each pair by hand, so the same parts of the room overlap as closely as possible.
The result is more than the effect of dragging the divider. A visitor can compare the original and the renovated state in one place without losing their bearings between the photos.
Real projects took a form in which the change of the space is visible directly and clearly.
Left comparison: a wall with bare pipework before, the finished shower with a towel radiator after.
Right comparison: bare blockwork and the finished shower with herringbone tiling.
